Power Plant and Power System Control becomes POWER AND ENERGY SYSTEMS

The 8th PP&PSC (Power Plant and Power System Control) Symposium will be held in Toulouse, France, in the period 2-5 September 2012. This follows the success of Beijing, Brussels, Seoul, Kananaskis and Tampere. The PP&PSC symposium is held every 3 years and has a reputation for its excellent scientific presentations and discussions. All the Conference activities will be concentrated at the “ENSEEIHT” engineer school, site located Toulouse downtown and easily to get walking from the hotels. The population in the center is near to 400'000 and 700'000 with the metropolitan area including 110'000 students in four universities and several schools of engineers and research laboratories. Toulouse benefits from business, cultural, sports and educational facilities truly remarkable for a city of its size. Toulouse also is a big and well known industrial town, specially devoted in aeronautics, space and electronics domains.
The aim of the exhibition is to promote technical discussions and business contacts between specialists in the field. Special products presentations can be organized on request. More than 200 decision makers, designers, technical staffs etc… are expected.
For this 8th edition, next to the regular topics, a special attention will be devoted to systems and processes, control of renewable power sources with power electronic converter systems. This includes VSC HVDC transmission systems and hydrogen sources systems which are one of the challenges of the next decade. The information included in the Exhibition package will help you to arrange your participation. For further details, do not hesitate to contact the PP&PSC ‘12 secretariat.
