After the 2009 Meeting in Asilomar, USA, we are pleased to announce the 2011 International Congress on Model Legume plants to be held in Sainte-Maxime, on the Côte d’Azur, France, May 15-19. This small scenic town is located in the beautiful Saint-Tropez bay, accessible by international flights to Nice or train to Saint-Raphaël/Fréjus.
The 2011 Congress will provide the most-up-to-date, top science in the fields of genomics, genetics and molecular biology of model legumes (Medicago truncatula, Lotus japonicus and soybean). Colleagues working on other legume plants are also welcome to participate. We aim to keep the Asilomar spirit alive by providing a stimulating environment for interactions in the scientific community, and encouraging the participation of junior scientists. The meeting will be organised in thematic sessions for oral presentations and evening poster sessions in an easy-going atmosphere.
We hope to see you in France for an exciting meeting.
